A Conversation With The Younger Version Of Me Part 2…..

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them that they are not invisible 

I would tell them that they are seen just the way they are 

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me 

I would tell them to always keep their heads up in hard times 

I would tell them that hard times don’t always last 

I would tell them that there is hope on the other side of the rainbow  

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me 

I would tell them that life doesn’t always begin when they are born 

I would tell them that life begins when they find who they are 

I would tell them that life begins when they find out what they are called to do 

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me
I would tell them not to mourn your yesterdays 

I would tell them that everything that you faced yesterday will help you face today  

I would tell them that everything that you faced today will help you face tomorrow 

I would tell them that everything that happens in your life are reminder of how far you have come

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me 

I would tell them that they will have whatever they need to thrive 

I would tell them that their future is brighter than they think

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me  

I would tell them to come just the way they are  

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me 

I would tell them to be grateful for who they are 

I would tell them to be grateful for the challenges they were able to overcome

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them that all of who they are is enough

I would tell them that all of who they are is loved

I would tell them that they have a fighting spirit within them

I would tell them to never throw in the towel no matter how hard it gets

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them not to worry about what they look like on the outside

I would tell them to focus on who they are on the inside

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them not to worry about how long it takes for you to walk into the calling over their lives

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them to know that they are not defined by what they look like from the outside

I would tell them that there is a reason why they were created to stand up tall

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them that all of the challenges that they faced will be worth it at the end

I would tell them that there is a reason why you had to go through challenges

I would tell them that every challenge that you have faced will be a part of your story

If I could have a conversation with the younger version of me

I would tell them that I am proud of the person they have become

Now That I Have Found Me….

Now that I have found me I can walk deeper into

the new version of myself that I can be proud of

I can walk deeper into the me who knows that greater days are on the horizon

I can walk deep into the me who knows that quitting isn’t optional

Now that I found me I am ready to fully walk into my calling

Now that I have found me I can help others find out what they are called to do

I can help others know that challenges are just hurdles to overcome

I can help others know that they can do so much more

I can help others know to always believe in the person that’s within them

Now that I have found me I can now help people find their voice

I can now show people that who they are from the outside is not who they are from the inside

Now that I have found me a new chapter of my life's journey begins

I can’t go back to the person that I was

I have to go forward into the person that I have become

Now that I have found me I can find my voice

Finding Me…‍ ‍

In order to find me I have to look deep within me

I had to look deep into the person that I am

I had to look deep into the person that I aspire to be

I had to look at everything that has been a part of my story

I had to look at the proud moments in my life

I had to look at how far I was able to overcome

In order to find me I had to learn how to encourage myself

I had to tell myself that I am more than what I have

I had to tell myself that I am more than what I look like

In order to find me I had to encourage myself to know that I am enough

I had to encourage myself that I can do anything that comes my way

I had to encourage myself to celebrate my uniqueness

In order to find me I had to encourage myself to never throw in my towel

I had to encourage myself to hold on to the dreams that are within me

I had to encourage myself to hold on to gifts and talents that are within me

In order to find me I had to remind myself that great days are ahead of me

I had to remind myself that there is a whole world out there for me

There is a whole world waiting for me to leave my mark

Once I Found My Voice….

Once I found my voice

Something inside of me came alive

Once I found my voice

I found the calling that was made for me

I found the calling that was made to change people's lives

Once I found my voice

I came to the understanding of why I had obstacles in my path

I came to the understanding that I am bigger than I thought I would ever be

Once I found my voice

I began walking into my calling

I began seeing the greatness within me come out of me

Once I found my voice

I began writing the next chapter of my life

I began writing the greatest chapter of my life

The day that I found my voice

I found out what I am capable of

The day that I found my voice

I found out my identity on this earth

I found out my life’s mission

The day that I found my voice

I found out that it is okay to be

my authentic self

The day that I found my voice

I saw myself in a new way

The day that I found my voice

I met the new me

I met the real me

Every battle that I have ever faced

Didn’t break me

Every limitation that I ever faced

Just because they saw the worst within me

Doesn't mean I was built to break

Just because they saw my disability as a joke

Doesn't mean I was built to break

What they don’t understand

Is that I was built to be smart
